Active families can enjoy the power of the sea and all the diversity the region has to offer. Our Kidsworld, a children’s and teens’ programme in the holiday periods, provides entertainment for the whole family. We are happy to help guests of all ages plan their leisure activities.

The way to the sea
Arrive relaxed, whether by car, train or aeroplane.
Wonderful nature and cosy places await you on the peninsula. There is plenty to see and discover if you want to.

By car

From Berlin or Hamburg it is only a 2-hour drive to the sea. The A19 (from Berlin) or A20 (from Lübeck) motorways connect the coast with the dense German motorway network in all directions.
The journey time from Dresden or Leipzig is approx. 4 hours, from Dortmund or Essen approx. 5 hours.

By train

The ICE train connections to Rügen all stop at the nearby Ribnitz-Damgarten West station. There are several direct connections from the centres of Germany to the coast every day.
As a service, we offer a pick-up service from Ribnitz-Damgarten railway station for an additional charge. Please inform us in good time so that we can plan your transfer.

We have customised offers of different sports and leisure activities for young and old all year round.

Visit our Fischland Sportwelt, the Fischland SPA, our gourmet restaurant Ostseelounge, tennis, water sports, horse riding, golf or hire a bike.

In spring, we will watch the spring awakening with you on foot or by bike on the adventure hiking trail through the Ribnitz moor.

In summer, the Baltic Sea beckons with water sports, sandcastle building and beach sports.

In autumn, hundreds of thousands of cranes migrate over our region and rest on their long journey south – an unforgettable natural spectacle.
In winter, you can enjoy peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life with plenty of wellness for all ages.

Simply present your personal guest card in the restaurants or at the SPA counter. Our SPA, SPORT, BOUTIQUE, STRANDBUDE and SERVICE staff will then be happy to charge the services or goods received to your room bill.
So that you can use your personal guest card conveniently, flexibly and securely at any time, you will receive a high-quality lanyard at your reception desk for the special price of € 3.80.

Holidays with your dog at the Strandhotel Fischland

The Strandhotel Fischland also welcomes your little four-legged friend. For € 25 per pet and day, we have a limited number of rooms, holiday flats and holiday homes available for holidays with dogs.

You can let your dog run free on the dog beach section next to our beach access.
We look forward to welcoming your animal companions.

We are constantly working on innovations at the Strandhotel Fischland.
From January 2024, our rooms and suites will be completely renovated.

Parking spaces for your car are available in the hotel grounds for every room and all holiday flats.

Furthermore, two e-charging stations are available in our car park for an additional charge, please register at reception.

A bicycle garage (with charging stations for e-bikes) is also available for your bicycles for an additional charge.
